Christianity as Jesus taught it was not a creed, nor a ritualistic Jehovah; but it was the demonstration of divine Love casting out error and healing the sick, not merely in the name of Christ, or Truth, but in demonstration of  Truth, as must be the case in the cycles of divine light.

Speak Softly

Hark! God’s voice now softly speaking,

Turns man to Eternal Love;

Oversoul keeps probing, seeking

Man’s attention from above.

Over and above the turmoil

Of harsh noises far and near;

Stilling every kind of roil,

‘Til man quiets every fear.

Speaking softly, Mind imparting

That which man must ever know;

Spirit’s presence ever bringing

Man into the eternal glow.

Living Truth in silent knowing,

Letting Love come shining through;

This is God and man e’er showing

Quietude that may renew.

Light of lights in radiant beaming

Guides me into gracious ways;

Gone the darkness of all seeming,

Comes the dawning of new days.

Quiet, Lord, all mortal senses

That befog and clutter thought;

Let me drop all my defenses,

As I Am what Thou hast wrought.
