“[God]… Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began…”

The Right Destiny

We are called to do great and wonderful things. The Christ came and continues to come to announce our Oneness with God, as His children, and this is a revelation that makes all things possible to us. Our life belongs to God and always has. When He caused us to be, dwelling as an idea with Him forever, He knew His purpose concerning us.

We are saved and safe in this awareness. This holy calling we have, this mission to be the living proof of God’s Word and His power and His love, is one to which we are naturally suited. It isn’t because of what we have done in our lives or not done that we are called to holy things.

It is because of God’s own purpose and grace, His unconditional Love and wisdom, that we are able to accept our calling and accomplish grand and wonderful things. God “saved us” from a belief in limitations, in human will and its false destiny, and set us free to be better men and women, doing better things than the mortal mind would try to dictate for us.

Release yourself to God’s purpose. It may be easy to limit ourselves, to come up with reasons why we are not worthy, not capable, not special, not smart enough or good enough. But do not limit God. It is His purpose and grace, and it knows no bounds and accepts no excuses.
