He Sent His Word and Healed Them

From: Footsteps Along the Path.
God sent His Holy Word to heal
The multitudes on earth;
Through Messengers with one desire:
To see that all may gain rebirth.
The Word of Love Divine is near
To nurture every ill;
The purpose of each treatment giv’n:
That all flesh retire and be still.
The Healer may be near or far,
Present here, or absent there;
The Word is boundless, that no space
Or time may ever interfere.
One holy thought divine is Power,
Sufficient to the need;
The Healer knows this fact for sure,
And feels the Word perform its deed.
He sent His Word and healed mankind
Of error’s every claim;
Man’s body, mind and soul made pure,
Restored to Oneness by His Name.
