Perfection dwells in realms of Spirit,
Translation of the Mental form;
Manifestation then inherits
Completion in the human norm.
There is work to do in every field,
That idle hands be still no more;
Every life must have its harvest yield,
To share with All from shore to shore.
For idle hands stem from idle thoughts,
Which should be lifted up to praise;
Complaints most always breed fears and doubts,
Which keep the heart from Love’s pure gaze.
To lean on mortal mind for guidance,
And to seek one’s good from person,
Is to give up one’s full reliance
On Perfect God and Perfect Son.
So, let us wake and shed the shadow,
Shake all lethargy and doubting;
To work we must, if Good would follow,
Grandest blessings always yielding
